One of 'em was me. [ she'd seen the scars, and he'd-- mentioned where they came from. it's not hard for her to figure it out, maybe. ] Truth is, I'm kinda hard to get rid of.

Sorta, yeah. [ it makes it sound so much better than it was when it's said like that. ] I was a big part of the reason he was in that mess to begin with, though.

Eh? It's hard to tell. Most of the bad stuff that happened to me I brought on myself, unless they were all part of a bigger conspiracy by one old dude who was bent on ruining a lot of people's lives.
