There was really no need to fight the darkness that existed at home. It simply was, and there were other things that people felt the need to fight. All of this-- it isn't terribly familiar.
Yeah, that's about how it is for most people. Light can't exist without darkness, and vice-versa. It's only when the balance is thrown out of whack that there's something to be done about it.
