Gateway stuff. I went with Miki, and things were going... okay until Minato dropped down from the sky with the corrupted guy for some reason? Everything kinda derailed after that.

Val and I got hit with something and tried to kill each other a little, for one thing.

[ he looks. exhausted. about it. ]

I heard something about allergy patches and getting turned into monsters?

The allergy stuff was the antidote, I guess? But yeah, we went all... body morphing time. That was not fun.

The guy who was corrupted. He was mad I was playing replacement mascot for him while he was "sick".

No kidding. Anyway, Miki got him in the end, and now we're fine. She's got a corruption item, I've got a partner one, and Val has two medical thingies. Everything worked out.

[ minato got ramen. ]

Yeah, but they had a medical team and Val pretty much cauterized it as it happened, so technically speaking, I'm way better off than I was last time.

I doubt that'll stop them.
