I don’t know. I don’t like that we’re leaning towards him because of the item he has. He can give that to anyone, and... He’s my friend, but he wouldn’t be my first choice. I think we should at least talk about it more, you know? Lune gave me a list of people he thinks would be good candidates.

I wouldn't call it getting my hopes up. More like... being stubborn beyond belief.

[ it's a weak joke, but there is one. But he thinks about it for a while after she says it, a light frown on his face ]

We both know my personal biases. But... If I was being entirely objective? I'd still have Naminé on mine.

...She's a good kid, but that's a lot of responsibility for somebody her age. I don't think she believes in herself enough to want that choice, anyways.
