I can't say I'm certain he didn't do it. I'm not certain about anything with that guy. But it didn't add up-- he'd have made mincemeat out of Kazuaki without trying. Not to mention that there were two people involved. ... But if he did do it, he wasn't corrupted.

I didn't see him that morning. It's possible was telling the truth. That he saw that Kazuaki was dead and thought it'd be funny. But it's also just as likely he's willing to hurt innocent people for kicks. Just to see what happens. He's never cared enough to remember dead people before.

... I don't know her enough to know for sure what she'd do or not. But why even bother incriminating herself by pretending to have maybe been corrupted? She went through the trouble and mentioned finding these to Sol the day before, too. What's the point in that lie? They know what actually happened.
Aaand therein lies the problem. We can speculate all we want, but we don't know enough about everyone here to know who's been lying in our faces and killing people.
